THE WEBSITE RULES

RESPECT. please respect your staff and other members.

ACTIVITY. anyone may join this site, just be sure to stay active-- this means you have logged into your accounts. if your account is inactive for two weeks without you stating that you're leaving, you will be warned. if it continues, you may be deleted. also, if you join and don't have an application up within a week of being on the site, you will be deleted.

GENDER/GROUP RATIO. it would be awesome if we could try and keep the gender as well as group ratio even. it would be no fun if we had 50 monstera and only 2 gods.

PLAY-BY. all play-bys must be real life people: celebrities, models, singers, etc.. try to use realistic pictures for the monsters. if that isn't possible [which is completely understandable], then use whatever best represents that character. if your creature can transform into a human form, make sure to use a real life person who isn't claimed. The only exception to this rule is twins, and it is the only exception.  

SIGNATURE/AVATAR. for the graphics, your character must have an avatar or signature of your character. your avatar may not exceed 200x300 for the MAIN/HOVER image. the smaller avatar will be resized automatically, but looks best at 150x150. as for signatures, keep them no more than 500 width and 350 height. if you need any help making one, feel free to ask a staff member or someone in the graphics thread. for mythological creatures, it would be helpful to have a picture of your creature as the signature or in it.

PATIENCE. do not start claiming/roleplaying until you are accepted.

DISPLAY NAME. after registering, please make your display name as your character's first, middle, and last name are all capitalized. if your character only has one name (example: horus) make sure it is capitalized(example: HORUS).

POSTING. make sure your posts hit three hundred words... and this is three hundred of your own words. do not copy the person who posted before you and use nearly everything their character said in your next post to hit the post limit. also, with that being said, it's okay to quote some of the other character's work-- but not everything. also, if you don't post with your character, you don't get to keep your character. you should try to post at least once every other week, especially with main characters. 

APPLICATION INFO. incomplete applications will stay up for two weeks before deletion.

APPLICATION TITLE. for the application title, please have it as "LAST NAME, first middle" or for a one-word name, "FIRST NAME." When finishing the application, do not have "finished," "done," "complete," etc. in the title... just the name. Simply add a post after your application stating you are done. The staff will try to get to you asap, but please don't rush us. Everyone has a life outside of the rp..

NO MARY SUES/GARY DREWS. in other words, no character should be perfect, yet on the other hand, no character should be completely evil. even Set himself has some good to him.

ACCOUNTS. only one character per account. this makes it less confusing on the members with whom they are roleplaying. i do not care how many characters you have as long as you can keep them all active. please do not make multiple accounts before your first one is accepted. be patient-- if you have one account, wait for it to be accepted, and then you can start another... but it'd probably be best to start using that one account.

WORD COUNT/GRAMMAR. each post must have at least three hundred words. quality of the post is more important than quantity. make sure you're considerate of the person you're roleplaying with and try to match the quantity/quality of their post. try and use correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation in sentences [use sentence variety please]-- make sure they are legible. roleplaying should also be in third person, not first.

GOD-MODDING/POWER PLAYING. no god-modding or power playing will be allowed. in other words, you can't physically control another person's character/tell them what to do/like unless the owner of that character gives you permission.

C-BOX. please do not advertise in the c-box. please also try to keep drama out of the c-box. if there is an issue please PM me or a moderator and we'll settle the issue.

REQUESTS. alright. you are absolutely free to make as many requests as you want [just don't expect to requests an entire family and specific playbys]. you may only bump requests once a week.

OTHER. as far as killing off/impregnating characters go, please consult me before automatically deciding what you will do. nine times out of ten it will be okay. as for sex, please fade to black. i'm personally not interested in reading about your characters screwing each other.
